An artist whose work proudly adheres to the tradition of German painting of the late 1990s and the beginning of the new millennium. A realistic concept of painting that is also influenced by the photorealism of the 1970s. Unger also subjects his own experience to topics typical of the exponents of this wave. What is more, however, the language he has taken as his own is subjected to new thematic challenges. The technique and language of his painting is a clear and solid platform that serves to interpret a seemingly unbounded thematic layer.
